Laughayette Comedy Festival highlights some of the best comedians in the industry across comedic genres. Shows will take place at multiple venues in Lafayette, including main stage venues the Long Center & Lafayette Theater, as well as CIVIC THEATER, Digby's, Knickerbocker, and The Spot.

Co-founders Kristin Carnes and TJ Wharry are both Lafayette-based stand up comedians. Carnes tours the midwest and produces monthly shows at The Spot as well as the Waukegan Comedy Jam. Wharry tours internationally, and produces monthly Z-7 Comedy shows at Digby’s, Knickerbocker and venues in Detroit. The founders performed Fall 2022 shows at the Lafayette Theater. They are focused on using the festival to build - and showcase - a thriving, diverse comedy scene for Lafayette residents and the region.

Comics include: Jim Flannigan (Chicago), June Dempsey (Louisville), Eric Hook (Bloomington), Meredith Hopping (St Louis), Alex Bozinovic (Detroit). The host for the evening is Lafayette-based comedian TJ Wharry, a Laughayette Comedy Festival co-founder and 2023 Indy's Funniest Person runner-up.

Canadian and Taiwanese comedy superstar Ed Hill arrives in Lafayette for one night only. His credits include a critically-acclaimed comedy special "Candy and Smiley" on Amazon Prime, and an off-off Broadway residency in NYC / comedy special. Comedian Ed Hill is bringing fresh material to Lafayette. Joining him is 2023 Indiana's Funniest runner-up and a co-founder of the Laughayette Comedy Festival, TJ Wharry.
