The Long Center for the Performing Arts is the home of the fabulous Lafayette Symphony Orchestra, the Long Center Theatre Organ Society’s Mighty Wurlitzer as well as the home away from home for organizations such as the Civic Theater of Greater Lafayette, Purdue Bands, Purdue Musical Organizations and Purdue Convocations and many more.
As we look forward to our next season, plans are underway to bring back some long-time favorites as well as present new and diverse offerings that will entertain and contribute to the cultural fabric of Greater Lafayette. As you may know, ticket revenues cover only a fraction of the costs associated with operating venues like the Long Center.
Now, more than ever, we need the support of people like you… people who care about the cultural enrichment of our community and realize that quality of life is enhanced by the strength of our local arts.
