POLITICS ON STAGE

The Lafayette Theater offers a self-guided musical theater exhibit celebrating “Politics on Stage." The multi-panel display - and recorded musical selections - explores entertainment, politics, and patriotism. From George and Ira Gershwin’s “Of Thee I Sing” to Lin-Manuel Miranda’s “Hamilton: An American Musical” to the 1960s “Hair," Broadway shows have addressed American politics and our cultural revolution. We invite you to explore the story of politics on the American stage at the Lafayette Theater.

The traveling exhibit is on loan from the Great American Songbook Foundation, based in Carmel, Indiana.
