Did you know that there were a number of African-Americans from Tippecanoe County that fought in the Civil War? What about the Underground Railroad? What were abolitionist’s thinking around Lafayette? How did African-Americans influence the American songbook? These are just a few of the topics we will be exploring with some of the best historical interpreters in the United States who have come from around the world to perform at the Long Center. This is the expanded program performed for 4th graders in Tippecanoe County.
Tickets are $10 each. Children 12 and under get in for free!
Advance tickets may be purchased at the Tippecanoe County Historical Association History Center, the Arganbright Library and the Tippecanoe Battlefield Museum or at the Long Center the night of the event.
