Patrick Myers' recreation of Queen's lead singer is simply uncanny.
Freddie Mercury of the beloved band Queen was one of rock ‘n Roll’s most electric showmen. Killer Queen, an England-based tribute band, recreates Queen’s songs on the world stage with uncanny talent and skill. The band takes its name from Queen’s first U.S. hit single, 1975’s “Killer Queen.”
In 2018, Killer Queen returns to the States for their third and largest U.S. tour, thus far, with a once-in-a-lifetime stop at the Long Center for the Performing Arts!
“Freddie’s voice was a beautiful, beautiful instrument,” said Patrick Myers, who expertly performs the part of the late rock legend in the tribute act that formed in 1993. Killer Queen’s first public shows were at London University, following in the footsteps of the real Queen who played their first shows there 21 years earlier.
Killer Queen features Queen hits such as “Under Pressure,” “Another One Bites the Dust,” and the iconic and intricate “Bohemian Rhapsody.”
Killer Queen is the only tribute band to have sold out the same arenas as Queen in their heyday. Killer Queen has uncannily replicated Queen’s epic performances and is the longest established tribute to Queen.
Touring extensively throughout Europe and the U.S., Killer Queen is a regular at prestigious venues such as Red Rocks Arena in Colorado and Austin City Limits in Texas.
